Found it. This co-op race was absolutely insane.The video title is wrong. The insane race was between Tile Roomies (jmeasher/rdwalsh) and What are you doing in my Swamp… Palace (Dawnvenure, Scrubcasual).

They actually have both invitation and open leagues. They are in group/divisional rounds right now. When they reach the elimination brackets some number of top open teams are going to get in to compete against the invitational teams. Exciting.
I want to like LttPR, but they’re so long! 30 minutes would be great to get into it, I would even take an hour.
But 2 hours a pop pushes it into once-a-year-maybe-at-GDQ territory for me.
They are only long because these players have already completely demolished the kind of boring open seeds that people like us can play. The hot thing now is to play criss cross. Not only is every item randomized, including the keys in pots. Not only are small keys, big keys, maps, and compasses from all dungeons shuffled into the general item pool. Not only are entrances randomized, and cross between dark and light world. But the dungeons are randomized. Dungeon 1 might have some rooms from Ganon’s Tower, some rooms from Ice Palace. It’s ridiculous. That kind of stuff takes pros 4+ hours.
Pros playing open 7/7 seeds, which are considered the “default” settings, usually take about an hour and change. If a Scott is playing instead of a pro, yeah it takes about 2 hours.
As you age, your predilections become increasingly esoteric.
