I didnât use gfycat much, but it really does feel like weâre in a sea change, doesnât it? Reddit, the bird website, Imgur, this.
I still remember seeing her make Conan, Tom Sellak and The Big Show blush by openly talking about sex without stigma.
Tony Bennett is from Astoria, where I live.
Are there any of these old crooners left now? Tony was big a little bit later than some of the others.
Not so much musically, but as a person I always liked him a lot more than the others. If you meet two senior citizens and one of them is a Sinatra fan and the other is a Tony Bennett fan, odds are the Bennett fan is the one you want to play some bridge with.
I think the most special thing about him is that he never retired. He could have gone to the literal beach, but for him, singing was the beach.
Sir Paul is the best I can come up with. Maybe Tom Jones? Neither is as old or as croony as Tony was though.
I think that Tony Bennettâs most controversial statements are ones I, or probably even the hosts of this podcast, would say exemplifies why I liked this man.
SinĂ©ad OâConnor
A real one.
Total stunned silence in the audience. And when I walk backstage, literally not a human being is in sight. All doors have closed. Everyone has vanished. Including my own manager, who locks himself in his room for three days and unplugs his phone.
A real legend. RIP.
Itâs rare to find an entertainer and comedian talented enough to not only appeal to all ages, but also do it in a timeless fashion. Nowadays you just donât see, or at least I donât see, too many entertainers going the route of developing a wild fictional persona like the way you think of Pee-wee, Mr. Bean, Mr. T, etc.
While Street started in England, he came to the U.S. in the early 80s and wrestled primarily in Alabama and Florida (mostly the gulf coast area). A few years back they had a convention of the gulf coast wrestlers and he was there. When I got his autograph I said âWhen I watched you as a teen, I hated your guts.â He smiled and shook my hand replying âThen I was doing my job mate.â
Only notable to me and whoever else knew them but my ex just died. It was an overdose. Could be suicide but those closer to them than I donât think that it was. I hadnât spoken to them in a little over a year and a half, and we only spent two months together, but that relationship changed my life and I donât know how I feel now. They were only 26.
