This also shows further proof that within every video comedian there lies an amazing horror director.
This humor is extremely 2005ish.

Take the 3D Walkthrough and keep exploring. You may think it can’t get worse, but it does. Again and again it does. It quickly descends into a Lovecraftian nightmare from which there is no escape.

End all gerrymandering.
Very nice!
Okay, so we’re all familiar with Borat, Sacha Baron Cohen’s simultaneous social experiment and grotesque ethnic caricature. Though I’m certain Cohen insists he’s not mocking Kazakhs so much as the rubes who don’t realize he’s a gross-out comedian pretending to be from a part of the world said rubes know little about, Kazakhs have never been amused by his act. There was a lot of anger with the first movie, but this time, Kazakhstan has decided to roll with it.
I should admit I’ve seen very little footage of Kazakhstan. It looks like an interesting place -oil money will do that for a country, I suppose.
Tim Heidecker (and Eric Wareheim) have had an incalculable impact on modern comedy. This standup special out of nowhere has given me such a resonating sendup of the previous era. Back when Comedy Central was airing every asshole with attitude and a guitar there were endless bits of reactionary whinging and repulsive songs that never end. Tim has perfectly captured the pathetic, self-centered bitching that every two-bit comic had and gives you permission to laugh at these clowns who think cynicism is a replacement for a personality.
Andy Baio interviewed the guy!
The terms of his settlement limited what he could say about the raid, but he told me he’s nearing the end of a seven-year probation period for his organized crime charges under the RICO Act, as well as tax evasion.
