There’s a lot of crap Vaporwave, but then there’s this:
There are no samples here. No memes. Rain and synths, soundscapes of voices and vehicles and soaring vistas and glorious mornings.
If you ever wanted the Blade Runner soundtrack but wanted it more optimistic, this is probably what you want.
MOOMINWAVE 案トい
New track from Yeule and I’m diggin the colorful cypergoth vibes of the video, and the music is catchy as hell for being such a vibey sort of sound. It’s stuck in my head immediately.
brand new track from Mono Inc., doesn’t feel as strong a message as some of their older work but still in the same vein
Broken clocks yada yada.
Catching up on some of the new releases. This song shook me, to the 𝕮𝖔𝖗𝖊
clipping. had me with their last projects for many many listens. Now we’re going straight up John Carpenter Trap House? Seriously.
It was a good week for noisy/experimental rap, altough neither of the artist are that noisy/experimental anymore.
Watching the video Mr. Peggy put up where he says he made like 93 songs towards the next album leads me to think there’s gonna be some level of experiment in-and-or noise at some point along the way. And a lot of disappointment, probably.
Been a fan of Blanck Mass for a bit now.
This new album keeps with what I liked, and delivers fresh. Intense, chaotic industrial with melodies for days. This music video from it is…
Maybe check out the whole album:
Here’s a tale of an interesting rabbit hole I recently traveled: I came across an Adult Swim fan podcast called [the deep end], and they happen to have an exclusive Patreon where they review every episode of The Venture Bros. It’s one of my favorite shows, so I joined and binged the archive. They also happen to post other side projects on their Patreon feed, and one of those projects features selected tracks of an album called Saturday Morning Cartoons’ Greatest Hits.
This album was released in 1995 and featured rock covers of cartoons from the 1960s-1970s (and a special mention from the 1990s). I enjoyed the music so much that I did a search to see where I can buy it. Turns out it’s available on most streaming services.
…or you can just play it for free on this YouTube playlist.
A new album by the Menzingers is coming out October 4th.

This is pretty old at this point but it’s locally sourced, home grown Canadian hype sounds.
Mobbin is a certified trap classic as far as I’m concerned.
Been listening to a ton of Cécile Corbel lately due to a certain podcast putting it as a stinger at the end.
Thought I included a descriptions, whoops. Tis a fun cover of Mother by my favorite cover band.
