Jeopardy!

Okay. So a Jeopardy executive producer didn’t want Jennings due to problematic jokes in his past and then… nominated himself despite even more problematic jokes in his past?

Nice one.

It’s funny, but I see this kind of thing happen in finance. Someone’s a “well known big-shot” among an older guard circle of power brokers. They just assume that people know who they are, respect them, fear them, etc…

But in reality, nobody outside of that circle has ever even heard of them. So they’ve never really faced any opposition or backlash about anything.

If they get into the “real” limelight, suddenly all the skeletons they were barely hiding in their full closet just fall out into the middle of the room. And they’re shocked that people react to those skeletons.
