I’m going to borrow this idea. I was thinking about getting an airbrush.
Sweet! Let me know how it goes!
It’s coming!
Worse comes to worst, I got two Master Grade kits I’ve never done, so I should be entertained.
I got an MG and 6 RG in the backlog. The RG EVA-01 just arrived and moved directly to the front of the queue.
As is just and proper. (it’s a fucking sweet looking kit)
I want that one and the IDW Optimus Prime kit:
For the 40th anniversary they have announce the first ever MGEX (master grade extreme) Gunpla. It’s Unicorn ver Ka. It’s ridiculous. If it wasn’t so expensive, I’d buy it.
It’s alive!
Kenichi Nomoto is the author of a series of books named NOMOKEN. They are like, the ultimate how-to on Gunpla building. I’m not sure if this is a translation or a new book, but HLJ has just released “NOMOKEN extra edition HANDBOOK OF GUNPLA MODELING” in English as an ebook. Going to read it and hopefully level up my Gunpla skills.
Couple weeks ago I was looking through a local store where I stumbled across a Gundamn model in the model kit section (almost the entire rest of the shelves was Revell military crap), and thought that’s something I could do during Desert Bus. So that’s what I did. A GN-001 Gundam Exia (1/144 scale) from Gundam 00.
Very nice. I’ve seen a lot of nice EXIA’s, butI haven’t made one yet myself.
In my extremely rare treks to a mall, I went to the same store as the last one and picked up another model, an “Aile Strike Gundam O.M.N.I.ENFORCER Mobile Suit GAT-X105”, or so the box tells me. Again 1/144 scale like the one above. Apparently from Gundam Seed. I have no idea about Gundam series, I just kind of like building things and I was fresh out of Lego and money to spend on Lego.
Still came out pretty nice I think, but I refused to futz with the miniscule stickers this time.
As the above picture is a bit too bright I took another of the Gundam protecting the City.
And yes, I noticed that while carrying it I lost a piece of the headdress somewhere. I found it since. Don’t worry about it.
Very nice. I’ve had that one sitting around unbuilt for quite awhile. I also have the unbuilt RG skygrasper that goes with it.
Take an entry grade gundam. Perhaps the best gunpla model for someone to start with. It comes in a plastic bag instead of a box.
Can a pro build it without opening the bag? Obviously the answer is yes or there wouldn’t be a YouTube video about it.
