I enjoy the same Afroman music video was posted in here 3 times in 5 days.
Yesterday in Styria a police officer shot and killed his direct superior after being confronted. I’ve seen reports elsewhere it was over multiple instances of abuse of power by the officer. Not even the “good” cops are safe from the bad cops.

Time to go vote him in, Chicago.
Before I have watched this video I’m going to guess: A LOT! 15-20%? 30%?
Sounds like the judge gets it!
a warrant is required for a cell phone search at the border, “absent exigent circumstances”
The court focused on the internet and cloud storage, stating: “Stopping the cell phone from entering the country would not … mean stopping the data contained on it from entering the country” because any data that can be found on a cell phone—even digital contraband—“very likely does exist not just on the phone device itself, but also on faraway computer servers potentially located within the country.”
Couldn’t be a more clear cut case of cops ignoring the law.
For lots of jobs in this country we unjustly automatically reject anyone with a criminal history. But that usually mostly includes actual convicted felons.
If it’s a job in any part of our law enforcement or justice system, I don’t think it’s unjust to demand that every single person involved has never broken any law of any kind whatsoever. In Scott world, the cop rejecting the request should be relieved of duty and permanently banned from any law enforcement job anywhere on earth for so long as they live.
We got a high value encryption target. It will definitely be worth someone’s time to try to crack it. The easiest way would be to get a radio and extract the keys, but brute force might even be reasonable in this kind of case.
The FBI are also police. Yet, they seem to have no problem cleaning up shitty local police. Is it because they have some higher standards?
Makes me think of all the times in cop movies when the feds show up to take over a situation, and it’s portrayed as a bad thing. They have an argument about jurisdiction. The feds are portrayed as too-serious know-nothings and the local cops are portrayed as actually knowing what to do, and having to break the rules to actually fix things.
The reality is that no, the feds are just better. Even if they help clean up bad cops once in awhile, they’re still cops. Never forget it.
The FBI aren’t the ones constantly chasing immigrants in high-speed car chases and being trigger-happy when someone is merely shoplifting from a grocery store. They have bigger problems to worry about, like keeping documents confidential and scanning their networks for hackers. They have less of a reason to wave around guns and high-grade military tech on the streets, so yes, they are better than police.
