What TV Shows Are You Watching?

Killjoys just aired the series finale. Goodbye to my favorite power couple:

Been watching Criminals on Netflix. It’s an interesting format – very stage play meets true crime, with solid acting.

There’s a new season of Abstract on Netflix, and four out of six of the episodes in season one were some of the best documentaries about design I’ve ever seen.

Episode one of season two is REALLY good. I’m looking forward to savoring the rest over the next few weeks.

I just watched the pilot of the series Evil. Imagine if Mulder was a black preist-in-training, and Scully was a psychologist who actually knew brain science, and there was a global conspiracy of… psychopaths? demons? I liked the pilot, and the cast is great, Luke Cage’s Mike Coulter, Westworld’s Katja Herbers, Aasif Mandvi, And Michael Emerson.

Living With Yourself is straight out of Rick and Morty. This Black Mirror genre is doing well.

Bojack Horseman is such an amazing show. When they release the second half of the final season we’ll see how it ends. This season has shown all the characters make so much progress and little by little it’s paying off for them.

I know I’m super late to the party on this, but Kids on the Slope is probably one of the best animated TV series I’ve ever seen. Everything about the show is what you’d expect from the creators of Cowboy Bebop, but that being said, being a big jazz fan, this show was just outstanding!

The hype is real.

There are two shows I’m really excited for… this one and His Dark Materials.

You know, for as much as they like to say the Witcher show is based on the books…

If you said it was a trailer for the next Witcher game, coming out in 2022, I’d absolutely believe it.

This is the first review of His Dark Materials that I’ve found. Consider my hype levels increased!

I think Neo Tokio is secretly (and unintentionally) great. At least if you’re drunk.

3 episodes into The Simpsons S1 and did they really just make a John Henry joke?

EDIT: AND a Your Friend The Atom parody? REALLY?

Did they fix the aspect ratio issue yet?

No but this is so much easier than finding a safe torrent site that I’m just gonna deal with it.

I’m going to wait. I’m sure they’ll fix it soon with all the uproar.

Fair but then you’ve seen these all before. This is my first opportunity to watch them.

WOW. Are you in for some shit.

I swear the only academic differences between me and Bart Simpson are 1) I could teach some of the classes I failed and 2) I owned up to my Fs.

EDIT: Oh jeez, S2E1 hit me hard. When Bart went “Now I know how George Washington felt when he had to surrender Fort Necessity to the French in 1754” I saw too much of myself.
