Tonight on GeekNights, we discuss our respective morning routines. How do you spend your mornings? In the news, skyrocketing RAM prices delay the Valve Steam Machine (along with the controller, and Steam Frame), NVIDIA isn't releasing new videocards for the same reason, bitcoin is (finally) collapsing, and someone left Horatio at the Goodwill.

My Morning Routine:

  • Wake up.
  • Look for assignments on SubCentral. Teachers usually call in sick in the morning, so the better short term assignments are available around 5:00 - 6:30 AM.
  • Shower. I need to shower to shave. In the summer, I do this at the end of the day. My summer job doesn’t mind five o’clock shadow, and I need to wash off the day’s grime.
  • Get dressed.
  • Make lunch. It’s a coin-toss if I do it in the morning or evening.
  • Download a long-form yt video for the commute.
  • Open a Soylent cafe bottle and start the commute.
