Steeping at the moment.
So fancy.
My tea habits have changed. I used to be 100% all about Harney’s Paris & Victorian London, but I got burnt out.
My morning go to is now English Breakfast Tea. It’s just a solid everyday tea.
Then my 2nd cup is Harney’s Lunar New Year 2020. Nice little change of things. But now these bishes decided to show me their new special collection: Met Collection and I want to try out the British History & Garden Therapy.
Have any of you gotten burnt out by certain flavors?
During moving, I had to really pare down. My cabinet is now basically a sencha (or other Japanese green), a taiwanese light oolong, a low caffeine japanese tea (hojicha, bancha), and a chinese black (bailin gonfu or laoshan). I would love to add Oriental Beauty oolong to the mix, but I haven’t found a source with decent cospa. Within those, I haven’t gotten burnt out.
I do go through my green fairly quickly, so I’m trying all the ones offered by my local tea vendor. Good thing I have a point card!
Finally drank some tea that was definitely sitting in my pantry (pantries?) for two years. Gotta drink more tea, faster.
I know a few people who swear by Pantenger Culinary grade matcha for that sort of thing. It’s about 20 bucks a tin, you get about three ounces, which they all recon is enough for about 75-100 drinks.
Check Yunomi’s selection. Both are under 20$, even cheaper if you subscribe.

I have a bunch of Sundew left from ConnectiCon 2019, this might be the best way to get through it…
I’ve been “Just Tea” w/ sweetener for a while now. I should add milk again.

I usually hover somewhere between builder’s brew and classic British. Just a dash, but it’s enough.
wwoooo I’m interested in this!!
