Apologies if this has been covered before, but I could not find anything in the forum search…

My wife is part of a library group that was doing sit down re-enactments of old radio shows. Since the Covd-19 pandemic, they had suspended doing these. Starting in July, they are going to begin recording them remotely for distribution at the library website.

The library will handle post-production, but I was wondering what would be a good microphone for recording that is not too expensive. Trying to keep it at around $100.

Do you need a USB mic or a standard XLR? And will it be one mic per person or are you looking for one mic to get a group of folks?

Just one mic for my wife to connect to the Mac Mini she has.
