Anyway, this guy looks so familiar. Is his character model copied from something else?

He looks like Duo Maxwell from Gundam Wing a couple years older.

Is anyone else a bit disappointed with the lack of Saitama punching things in the last few eps? The very last episode is great, but I want to see him murder monsters more.
That’s the whole point of the show. It builds up tension and anticipation for him eventually punching something. If he did it constantly, then it wouldn’t be shonen action.

Wait, that was the whole season? What a letdown from season 1.
It’s the first half.
I’m pretty sure that was the Season 2 finale; now we’re waiting for Season 3.
That said, in terms of where the show left off it’s probably better to think of the episode as the end of half a season; that last one was a good episode but not a good season finale.
What makes OPM so good?
It isn’t just that it’s funny or that Saitama has ultimate power.
The animation itself is visually interesting; where running fast isn’t just boring blurred lines.
It’s interesting to watch how he runs and the paths that he takes, despite his extreme speed.
The medium is the message.
