It’s not the full version yet, but it only took 35 years for this track to get a video:

This might be my favorite rendition of Love. Like 15 years after he said he wouldn’t play it again lol.
Did you see the Les Mis cover?
Well I had to look that up. Is Bring Him Home the only one?
Yes. That’s the one.
How to describe this music?
Intense. Tortured. Haunting. Beautiful. Noise.
Vengeful.
I love love love Lingua Ignota, she sounds like she’s trying to summon a demon.
If you like that track and have 17 minutes to listen to a masterpiece along that vein I recommend this live version of Ugly and Vengeful by Anna Von Hausswolff, so so good.
That entire album is fantastic, and the stuff she released after makes me really excited about her career. She’s like an introverted Mariko Goto, without the self violence involved in Midori.
For something filmed in 2008 it seems delightfully older.
Not sure I have shared this here or not but once you Frank Sinatra as GLaDOS you will never forget it.

It’s the aspect ratio methinks. But yeah, as much as I love the band I’m glad that Midori didn’t last long, Mariko Goto would keep going to the hospital for injuries and concussions and it took a huge toll on her body.
Vaporwave is eternal. I’ve unknowingly grown a collection of Cassette tapes thanks to my more lo-fi inclined friends releasing their own material and sending them to me.
Unrelated, but I’ve been jamming to this band lately. A great slice of punk

Brass Against is fucking amazing. I saw them down in NYC two months ago. That show was possibly better than when I saw Rage in 99.
