Recall isn’t even that bad of a feature honestly.
Recall is also not a security problem. Did I say this in this thread already?
Imagine a treasure chest with a lock. But the treasure chest only has $1 in it.
Now imagine that same treasure chest full of doubloons.
Is the second chest less secure than the first chest?
That’s all recall does. It doesn’t make Windows more or less secure. It just hoards treasure on your disk. Not really that much different from the Apple Time machine feature, which nobody is concerned about whatsoever.
If you do get breached, yeah, they’ll find the history of all the things you did. But that’s not any more or less likely to happen than it is to happen now.
Meanwhile, let’s say you don’t get breached. Now you’ve got this really handy dandy feature. A complete history of the shit you did on your computer.
