You’re not helping sell copies of Diablo IV this way bro.

Food service establishments don’t give sick leave. People come in and work while sick. That sickness passes to the customers.

Right now our system puts the onus on employees to request and fight for sick leave. The rule we should have is the opposite. Employers should be severely punished for allowing any sick employee to work. If inspectors find any sick employees at a workplace, then the consequences for that entire business should be dire.

With the actors now being on strike they are not promoting their shows/movies, so San Diego Comic Con is preparing for a big change this year. I’ve seen some comic artists wondering if this could be a good thing to refocus more attention on visual comics rather than the big superhero and fantasy movies that have taken over in the past decade+. No doubt many attendees will be upset and I’m sure SDCC isn’t happy about it either.

A ton of what was said here is relevant to unions in general, especially how well run strikes can cascade the employers to come to the table.

That’s an excellent information-dense video.

I didn’t expect the surprise appearance of my skibidi toilet boys!
