I kinda stumbled into a second job at a worker co-op. I’m doing this over and above my day job. It’s interesting. We just had my first sprint planning and I got my first card assigned to me.

The largest openings are in Software Dev and Software Support for in house applications for FINTECH and working with counterparties and industry standards like FIX. Even if you aren’t a Technologist there’s still a fair amount of openings. The majority of our positions are just outside Philadelphia, but there’s some for New York, Dublin Ireland, and Sydney Australia primarily as well as a few single listings across other US cities and SE Asia.

I plan to work here till I retire barring unforeseen circumstance. Great work culture, pay, and my commute is 10 minutes by car and I think it will be 30ish by bike which I aim to try once the weather heats up again.

SIG a privately held Finance / FINTECH company that basically trades its own money and provides some market services through different divisions. We’re a market maker in a number of exchanges, do a lot of quant trading and have our fingers in just about every pie that its possible to be profitable in without needing to be the size of a major financial institution.
I kind of enjoy the nerd culture aspects of the company (we became a team sponsor for Dignatas in eSports for example), but sometimes its also silly. The phone on the left is staged, but we do have a yearly company poker tournament where 1st and runnerup win a travel package or the monetary value of it (price is right style).
