Dexterity games

I’m looking for dexterity board game recommendations. Specifically, I want to run a small tournament at Gamehole Con. My idea would be to have 4-5 games that participants played in a “round robin” style. Tally points at the end and give out prizes.

Thoughts?

I think you’ll probably want one from each category.

The build a tall thing that eventually falls down category:
Jenga, Rhino Hero, Villa Paletti, Catch the Moon.

The flicking category:
Catacombs, Flick ‘em Up, Elk Fest, ICECOOL, Pitch Car, Tumblin’ Dice, Crokinole

The grabbing things quickly category:
Jungle Speed, Nerts, Spot-It

Others:
Drop-It, Klask, Tokyo Highway

PitchCar for sure.

Click! Clack! Lumberjack! if you want something easier to setup and play

Lift It has forehead cranes. I’ll leave it up to you to decide if that’s a good or a bad thing for your purposes.

Vollpfosten fits into the “grab things quickly” category.

I can never remember the name of this one.

What’s the ideal format for such a tournament? Round Robin and tabulate points at the end? I like Scott’s idea of various categories. What would I reserve for a time block, maybe 30 mins per game and 1 table per game?

Thanks for the all suggestions so far.

The ideal tournament format depends on how many people there are.

I would probably shoot for 16 people and 4 tables.
