Gord Downie, lead singer of The Tragically Hip, has died at age 53.

Former professional baseball pitcher Roy Halladay died in a plane crash today. He is one of the few people who pitched a perfect game in the Majors. He also pitched a no-hitter in post-season play and was only the 2nd person to do so at the time. He was only 40 years old at the time of his passing.
Iāve learned long ago to never get into a tiny private plane flown by a celebrity.
