The title had me confused, for a minute I was hype for a band named after the school.

This is an old AMV that predates YouTube, but it holds a special place in my heart and it’s celebrating its 15th anniversary this year, so I had to share it. It’s also the first AMV I’ve ever seen and I’m still blown away when I watch it now.

AniMix Project is an hour-long AMV consisting of clips from 150 titles and was way ahead of its time. The editing starts off rather simplistic, but becomes increasingly elaborate as it progresses, culminating in a beautiful conclusion.
I’d recommend playing a game with you: Try to spot which anime you recognize over the course of the video, then check out its AMV page to see the complete list. It also lists every song that was sampled for this megamix.
