Trash Theory is great and way too underwatched. I think I linked to him a couple of times in the Media Criticism thread.

Ah I forgot about that thread, may have been a better place to drop it, but here works too. His Pale Waves video was great and had me listening to some newer stuff I hadn’t heard, but had influences from some of my favorite 80s acts.

I also really enjoyed watching some of his much longer form videos, like the big genre history of punk rock that filled in some blanks on bands where I knew the songs but not the actual band/backstory behind them.

I’ve been listening to the Otoboke Beaver Album “Super Champion” a lot recently. What is more punk than 18 songs in 21 minutes?
(This is the second longest song on the album).
Their rhythm and tempo changes are great, and their drummer is just fantastic. Precise and incredibly fast.
