Not a predicament but it brings to mind what my uncle told me was a pep talk thing when he was in basic training. The drill instructor asked the platoon:
YOU ARE SURROUNDED BY AN ENEMY DIVISION. YOUR ENTIRE UNIT IS DEAD. YOU ARE ALONE AND OUT OF AMMUNITION. WHAT DO YOU DO!?!
And the only acceptable answer was:
KILL THEM SIR!
How? You’re out of ammo.
YOU GOT TEETH DONTCA BOY?!
Your phone battery died and you have no charger or portable battery.
