The Horsemen are drawing nearer
On the leather steeds they ride
They have come to take your life
On through the dead of night
With the four Horsemen ride
or choose your fate and die!

Kinda shoegazey metal but w/e it’s fucking dope

More to come after I’ve had more than three days with it but good god the new Marmozets album Knowing What You Know. My days is it good. Becca is up there with the likes of Maynard, Tailor and Bjork in terms of her vocal skill. The creativity coming from the rest of the band only serves to build on it. I would call this now as the best album of the year, maybe last decade.

I saw a poster on the street for Nightwish in March at the Playstation Theater 5 minutes from my office. Not sold out, but tix are over $100! WTF. I’m used to paying < $40 for a metal show.

100 is steep. They must be getting popular?

Might end up paying at least that for the Slayer show at Mohegan tho.

Nine Inch Nails and Marmozets are playing in Osaka this summer. Will have to brave the godless heat but will be worth it.

Excellent sci-fi infused thrash from Toronto that borrows from Voivod, Motörhead, and Venom. The first track has some spooky, retro-synth vibes and then it gets into the meat. Really enjoy this.

Guys, how is Judas Priest still so fucking good in 2018?

Because Rob Halford is fucking awesome. There are valid arguments to be made that he is the best metal vocalist, period.
