The show does an amazing job at this, don’t get me wrong, but at least for me, I need more to hold my attention. I watch TV primarily to be entertained. If a show can expand my understanding of something, or let me think about things in a new way, that’s great, but if it doesn’t entertain me, I’m just going to get bored.
If the purpose of Cells at Work was only to educate and inform people about how our bodies worked, that would be one thing. But the purpose of the show is to entertain us. For me, it fails at that.
