Looking at the touch bar is not a problem. I’m not sure why you think it is. It is 4cm below the screen, so it’s hardly more difficult to look at than anything along the bottom of the screen. If a touch bar was on a keyboard on desk and you are looking at an external monitor, then it might be a problem, I guess, but not built in to a laptop.
Anyway, thanks for telling me I’m doing it wrong.
For Final Cut Pro and Logic Pro, the touch bar is almost an equal third input along with the keyboard and touchpad.
