Not sure about how long itās been the logo, couldnāt find a history of their logo. The whole org has been around since 1940ā¦
Iām not sure if thereās something Iām supposed to be seeing, but itās just an axe? Thatās a violent weapon, but itās not as evil as a logo with a skull on it. Doesnāt seem any worse than the eagle with a talon-full of arrows.

It is a fasces, the object Fascism is named for. It is literally the symbol of Fascism.
However, after reading up a bit on it, it has a bit more of heraldic importance before it was co-opted by Mussolini and friends.
Yeah, tbf I only learned about the symbol in Italian studies and it only really became something scary to me when, after like 3 years of RIT Italian minoring, (included a load of history) we went to see the tomb of āthe bossā and I saw the doors.
It may mean something else to others. To me itās the symbol of the original fascist.
When the fasces shows up on anything created after ~1941, it has clear fascist implications. At best, the organization using it is profoundly ignorant.
