I’m about to buy one myself, a nice 4L Zojurushi. My partner already has a boiler, very strong rec.
I’ll echo the recommendation for a Japanese water boiler. I’ve had the same zojirushi for 10 years now, I use it multiple times per day, it’s amazing.
Well, honestly, yeah, that’s part of the reason I’m getting one, I’m here hanging about boiling the kettle multiple times a day, takes so much time, takes a shitload of energy, pain in the ass. Not to mention all the times I put the kettle on, wander off to do something, come back ten minutes later having completely forgotten I never put the water on my tea.
This is exactly what lead me to buying it in the first place!
