I believe this is the more appropriate thread for this, but seeing Notre Dame on fire is a bit of a gut punch. Of course the purpose of the building is not to my liking, but it is still a historical valuable monument and seing it go up in smoke is rather disheartening.

A legend. Apparently he was going strong at 80. If I’m as happy and active as he seemed to be when I’m 80, I’d say I had a good run.

Ok, look I’m glad we’ve got some amount of ytmnd archived but your update freaked me out. Jason Scott has had heart problems in the past. I’m not ready for him to go and his picture in this thread was, a bit harrowing.
